It was not an easy decision for the panel to choose the winner and runner-up among the high-quality presentations. I would like to congratulate winner Chelsea Matthews from the School of Agriculture & Wine (What’s in the pot?), runner-up Ashley Geiger from the Medical School (Fighting blindness with gene editing) and peoples’ choice winner Jacqueline Barsby from the School of Agriculture & Wine (Superfood or Superficial?), but also all other finalists (Ricky Fernandes, Samantha Edwards, Maggie Paul, Joshua Kovoor, Amy-Rose Westcott, Trang Dang and Sahand Karimi-Arpanahi) who have competed in the Faculty heats and finals to reach the University Final. You are all superstars! Chelsea will now represent the University at the Asia-Pacific 3MT competition in October. Good luck, Chelsea!
