In today's update, the Prime Minister announced Auckland remains in Alert Level 3, Step 1 and in principle will move to Step 2 at 11.59pm, Tuesday 09 November.

At Alert Level 3, Step 2:

Retail can open, with distancing and masks
Public facilities like libraries and museums can reopen, with distancing and masks.
Outdoor gatherings of up to 25 people can go ahead, with the removal of the 2-household restriction. Physical distancing is strongly encouraged.
Outdoor organised exercise classes can expand to 25 people, with distancing

This provides Auckland with more flexibility within the Alert Level 3 restrictions, however, Unitec will remain unchanged as we continue with our current approved plans for teaching, learning and assessments.

This is a gentle reminder that vaccinations are the main focus for returning to a new 'normal'. If you have not been vaccinated yet, you can book through BookMyVaccine or one of the events below. If you are unsure, we encourage you to seek information from a trusted health professional or visit the Covid-19 website.

Covid-19

Feeling sick? Visited a place of interest? Te Puna Waiora Medical Centre at our Mt Albert Campus provides Covid-19 tests for all current Unitec Students.

If you require a Covid-19 test, you must call ahead on 0800 10 85 10 to book an appointment. Walk-ins will not be seen.
