He waka eke noa — We Rise Together.

Brett Keane’s courage

At one point, he lost everything — but he didn’t give up. Through grit, resilience, and support from The Phoenix Centre and The Generator, Brett rebuilt his life from the ground up.

Today, he’s the proud owner of Junk Buster — Helping locals with clean-ups, small freight, and lawns. Showing up for his community, earning respect, and backing himself every step of the way.  From struggle to self-made — Brett is proof that change is possible. Watch the full story here.
