A letter from the President Dear ADIA Members, Re: Stay connected and protected in 2024-2025 Thank you for your membership. As a valued and trusted ADIA member, we encourage you to stay connected and protected by renewing your 2024-2025 membership here today. ADIA remains committed to providing members with the best possible return on their investment and delivering you and your team direct and exclusive access to expert advice for privacy, advocacy, workplace relations, quality assurance and training. With privacy law changes expected this year and increased regulation, your membership and working under the ADIA Privacy (Market and Social Research) Code has never mattered more! FY25 Subscription Fees Historically, ADIA has raised membership subscription fees in line with CPI. However, when the pandemic hit in 2020, the Board consciously supported members and reduced fees (to the 2018 rates). We kept fee changes below CPI over the next few years, mindful of our members' commercial pressures while they recovered and rebuilt their organisations. As business leaders, you would appreciate, however, that such a position is not sustainable, particularly amid inflation and rising operating costs. Therefore (and while it was not an easy decision), ADIA is increasing fees by 12% across the membership levels for the year ahead due to the cumulative deficits incurred by the Association over the past four years. This decision is not about generating wealth for the Association. It is one focused on setting ADIA on the road to fiscal strength, ensuring the organisation's sustainability and future success. The decision has also been made considering the additional expenditures that will be required in the coming year as we work to address the upcoming changes to privacy legislation and ensure our Privacy Code is updated and continues to protect our members. We are also mindful that the Association is doing all it can to assist at every level of the industry. To ensure that small businesses are supported in the face of major privacy law reform, we have reinstated the membership band for companies with a turnover of less than $500,000 p.a. Our members are at the core of everything we do, and we are committed to providing you and your team with current and desired services in the year ahead and beyond. Please look out for a personalised email this week from Jennifer Hodge, ADIA's Membership Manager, with renewal details. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me at 0412 370 393 or Sarah Campbell, CEO, at 0460 012 092. |
