PRACTICE | Strengthening community engagement

The Prevention Centre has launched its Community Engagement for Prevention Community of Practice, expanding the former Citizen Science network to include co-design and other inclusive methods. RESEARCH | Digital innovation for healthy beginnings

A new BMJ Open paper introduces Tiny Bites, a digital health trial supporting early childhood educators and caregivers to create consistent, healthy feeding environments in care and at home. The 18-month cluster randomised trial will test whether a co-designed, scalable digital program can improve infant feeding practices and healthy weight trajectories. Read more

Endometriosis affects approximately one in seven Australian women, yet diagnosis can take years. POLICY | New evidence to guide alcohol harm reduction

A paper underpinning the Alcohol Policy Model (TAP), which estimates Australia’s avoidable alcohol burden, has now been published in the International Journal of Mental Health and Addiction.
