Student News

We're less than a week from O'Week 2022, and the University is getting ready to welcome you all back to campus. We can't wait for that O'Week feeling, with everyone keen for a fresh start, and the anticipation of a new year in the air.

International Students have an earlier start, with the International Student Welcome and Orientation on 17 and 18 February (that's this Thursday and Friday).
Beginning on February 21, all new University students are welcome to O'Week. Find the schedule, extra-curricular events, Faculty info and much more over on the O'Week website.

Aside from Orientation, there are some really excellent career opportunities in the email below (along with the usual important dates and info, of course) so check out what we have in store for you, and we'll see you on campus!

Watershed: The Death of Dr Duncan
5pm to 9pm, 2 March - Cloisters Lawns
50 years ago, Dr George Ian Ogilvie Duncan was drowned, triggering an alleged police cover-up, national outrage, a Scotland Yard investigation, pioneering gay law reform... and a glaring absence of convictions.
We invite you to join us in commemorating this moment with Watershed - a new oratorio created by some of Australia's most acclaimed talents. Book your tickets and learn more about this event here.
