Fox School Job and Internship Fair
The Center for Student Professional Development hosted its annual Fall Connection job & internship fair on Sept. 20. The event saw an impressive turnout with 765 students excited to explore career opportunities.
Employer and corporate participation was impressive with 105 companies representing a wide variety of industries, who offered business roles in finance, marketing, human resources, entrepreneurship, data analytics and MIS.

My journey as an actuarial science major
Liam Clancy, class of 2025, shares the benefits of the Fox School actuarial science program including the ability to receive industry exam credits through the UEC program prior to graduation. He credits this, along with his involvement in the student organization Gamma Iota Sigma, to receiving a job offer with MetLife in New York.

What I wish I knew

FALL AND WINTER BREAK HOUSING
- Undergraduate residence halls will close on Saturday, Nov. 23, at noon and will re-open on Sunday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m.
- Students will be required to vacate their university housing assignment by noon on Saturday, Nov. 23, unless they have registered for break housing. Break registration will be available on MyHousing beginning on Monday, Sept. 30. The break request will turn off on Friday, Nov. 15.
- The last meal served prior to this break will be lunch on Saturday, Nov. 23. The first meal upon return from this break is dinner on Sunday, Dec. 1.
- Residence halls will close for Winter Break on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m. and reopen for the start of the spring semester on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, at 10 a.m.
- Spring meal plans will begin with dinner on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025.
- If your student needs Winter Break housing, requests are available beginning on Monday, Nov. 4, and will end on Friday, Dec. 13, by 5 p.m. Learn more about the request process.
