Prepare for EOFY Stocktake

Before the last day of the Financial Year, it is critical to complete a full stocktake by checking all products and inventory in your practice, making sure records are accurate and correct. A stocktake lets you work out the value of your “stock” at the EOFY for business or tax purposes.

The advantages of completing a stocktake as well as meeting your tax obligations include:

Gaining a better understanding of your stock levels
Make sure you have the correct amount of inventory on hand
Identifying what inventory you need to buy
Improving your cash flow by identifying and reducing slow moving stock
Detecting theft and gaps in your stock levels
Review your pricing strategy.
