Global Health Minor

The Global Health Minor (GLBHL) is designed to provide undergraduate students with a multidisciplinary exposure to the theoretical and practical issues affecting the health of populations in various countries and regions of the world. This minor is appropriate for students whose career goals incorporate public health interventions, education, policy, or research related to global health. Coursework and supervised field work (on location, domestically or internationally, for 5 weeks) will draw on the diversity and abundance of the Penn State faculty's international resources and networks.

Pre-PA students planning to submit their Personal Statement for review can begin submitting them during the first week of November. We will review them as they come in and will attempt to get feedback returned to all students by Thanksgiving. The last day to submit a personal statement for review via this system is 11/12/2021 at 11:59PM.

Prehealth Drop-in Hours

Prehealth Advising will be holding virtual drop-in advising sessions twice a week on Thursdays and Fridays throughout the semester.

You may check-in to our virtual kiosk and the next available adviser will send you their zoom info.
