Dear Colleagues,
Thank you for your continued support of the Compensation Modernization project. As we finish the calendar year, we offer an update on where we stand and what is next.
Earlier this year, our team worked with your designated subject matter experts to analyze, group, and develop a proposed job structure. Since then, we have been benchmarking, reviewing, validating, and defining the new University job catalog, and are now at work assigning each existing staff member to a new job from within the new catalog. We anticipate this effort will continue to the end of December 2021.
We plan to send additional details around the job mapping, as well as job assignment and validation processes, after returning from winter recess.
Additionally, as more approvals are obtained, we anticipate broad announcements to the community to begin in January.
