Welcome to the Marketing Update

As always, we use this to communicate any national activity we want you to be aware of, any new or exciting news, reminders of important dates etc., examples of best practice and knowledge sharing.

Key Dates

Customer Service Drop In Session - 5th October - 11am - 12pm - this isn't strictly marketing but there is such a link between marketing and customer service/retention, we want to open this webinar up to anyone who wants to attend. It won't have an agenda but nearer the time we will see if there are any topics that seem to be recurring to get the ball rolling. We are also going to send out a survey .

We all have other odd days off but these are our main holidays. There will be no time when social media isn't monitored and we will use out of office replies on personal email addresses, marketing@ and info@ to remind people and manage expectations in terms of getting back to you. As always, in case of emergency, someone at HQ will be able to help.

PR - Water Safety Opt-In

Please do check your emails - Clare from Calvin has sent out an opt-in press release linking to Drowning Prevention/Water Safety Week raising awareness amongst parents of the great work we do in our lessons. Please do opt-in and respond to Clare with your details to personalise the release for your franchise.

A few weeks ago, Ali did a podcast for this directory brand. One or two of our franchises had legacy entries in their directory but I asked if people would be interested if we could get discounts for multiple franchises taking listings. I had a call with Carla Letts this week and the answer was yes. Here are the deals available but we need 15 franchises minimum to take up the opportunity. They get 300,000 visitors to the website every month. I have asked for a little more info just about their traffic and performance and will share as soon as I have it.

Silver Listing - £8.99 every 6 months.

The silver listing includes:

The pricing for this is just £8.99 every six months.

If 15 franchises sign up, we would be happy to reduce the cost to £5.99 + VAT every 6 months per listing.

Gold Listing - £39.00 every 6 months.

Your premium listing will rank ABOVE ALL standard listings in your area.

Included within the premium listing is:

• 10% off all Networking & Training Events
• 10% off all other Products
• Website Referrals
• Ranked above Basic Listings
• Highlighted Listing in Search Results
• Photos, Logo & Video
• Social Media Links

If 15 franchises sign up for the gold/premium option, we would be happy to reduce the price to £29.99 + VAT every 6 months per listing.

If we get interest, we will look at supplementing this with using some NML to do some banner advertising on the site (this is at a cost of £199 per quarter).
