GE Aerospace Invests Almost $25M in Rutland Facility
GE Aerospace will pour almost $25 million into its Rutland plant as part of a $650 million investment in facilities company-wide. The company said it would spend $24.9 million in Rutland on industrial ovens, inspection equipment, grinders, tumblers, and tooling for the production of the GE9X, GEnx, and LEAP commercial engines, as well as rotorcraft engines and fighter jet engines. Vermont Small Business Economic Outlook Survey
Nearly 100 Vermont businesses from various industries completed the 2024 annual economic survey assessing the outlook of Vermont’s small- to medium-sized businesses. The survey, presented by Davis and Hodgdon CPAs and the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, demonstrated that business owners are more optimistic about the U.S. economy than they are about the Vermont economy. This is the opposite of attitudes displayed in survey results from the same

Training Opportunity for VNAHSR Hospice Volunteers
VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region (VNAHSR) provides training for those interested in becoming hospice volunteers. This upcoming training will be held on Friday, April 12, from 8 a.m.–4 p.m. at the Castleton Free Library, 638 Main St. in Castleton. Training is free and open to individuals 16 years of age and older. Volunteers need to pass a background check. No previous hospice and healthcare experience is required.
