Champions Crowned: What a Night at BalmoralBy Daniel Chivers On Wednesday evening, the lights were bright - but the competition was even brighter at our Wednesday Social League Finals Night delivered across the board. From the high-stakes Kelly Cup clash to the ever-proud “Wooden Spoon” decider, the greens were absolutely humming. A massive congratulations to our 2026 winners: And a big nod to the Mudlarks, who secured promotion into Division, joining finalists Cantabs and MAD Buggers in next season’s top flight. A huge shout-out to Andrew Lamont for running a seamless season, and to Penny for keeping everyone fuelled right through to finals night. We also couldn’t do it without the generous support of The Western Trust, those prizes were the perfect cherry on top for our winners. The new drone shots from the evening shine a spotlight on Balmoral, buzzing and looking its vibrant best. Whether it was a Speight’s jacket or a Pirie’s meat pack, there were plenty of smiles on the green. Be sure to check out the full gallery and results in the first edition of the Balmoral Bias.
