Exploring a regional, multi-disciplinary initiative with Duke, University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and Vanderbilt
Deadline to submit interest: February 28 - For those interested in AI/ML x rural health x environmental health, click HERE
- For those interested in AI/ML x rural health x diabetes, click HERE
Building on our collective research strengths, the Vice Presidents for Research (VPRs) from Duke University, Emory University, University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, and Vanderbilt University are interested in exploring the potential for a regional, multi-state collaboration initiative at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML), rural health, and environmental health, as well as, the intersection of AI/ML, rural health, and diabetes. To gauge interest and begin to develop an overall strategy, the VPRs may host a virtual transdisciplinary half-day event for each of these topics that includes presentations from faculty at each of our four institutions,
interspersed with discussions. The date and agenda for this event are TBD and will be informed by investigators’ input. We also intend to share a list of interested investigators. Questions
