Product Feature: VC-IMC - Vertical Manual Load Cartoner
The VC-IMC can handle cartons with depths as low as 2". This vertical cartoner has an ergonomic manual load station for operators to load product. All safety features are provided with the cartoner, including safety swing gates at both ends of the manual load station and an e-stop pull cord. Category 3 safety guarding is standard on the VC-IMC. Servo motors on all major actuated components are featured on this application. The system features a Nordson ProBlue Flex, and Allen Bradley controls system.
Product Feature: TR-QCP - Transrector Robotic End Load Case Packer
The TR-QCP is a compact case packer that is flexible to handle various product applications. This application features the TR-QCP handling rolls of coins at 150 ppm. The case packer handles multiple sizes with a case depth on some SKUs of only 2". This flexibility allows the end user to run several different sizes. The case packer design can meet the end user's strict floor plan requirements. The systems' combination of gantry robot and case shuttle system provides world-class case erecting and positioning through precise servo-actuated motors.
New Product: CP-LSP - Linear Servopac Case Packer
AFA Systems recently designed a new case packer to handle high-speed applications. The innovative gantry robot case erector ensures quality case erecting at high speeds. The system features a linear servopac to collate product at over 300 ppm. Also included is a two-axis robot that picks pouches from the servopac conveyor and top load cases. This application shows the CP-LSP handling wrapped pouches at 200 ppm. The CP-LSP uses a Nordson ProBlue Flex adhesive unit for top and bottom case sealing.
