This edition highlights the arrival of James Chaffer as Head of Commercial (Property) and Dirk Schaefer's appointment as Head of Commercial (Innovation & Growth), supporting both the launch of our new Innovation & Growth Services and marketing for the ongoing £6 million Vanguard Centre redevelopment. We celebrate the achievements of innovative businesses making their mark. Eskuta is preparing for European expansion following support from the Business Ready programme, Ademen has secured £1.6 million to advance its ground-breaking gut health monitoring technology, and AI-powered travel start-up BeachSupplies.co.uk has moved into its first commercial office as it scales for future growth. Alongside these successes, we reflect on a summer of networking events that again brought together businesses, partners and supporters, reinforcing the collaborative spirit that drives innovation across our community. With the Vanguard Centre refurbishment to complete this autumn to provide a new home for commercial life science and tech at the Science Park, this summer was very much a warmup for what’s to come!
