So it is appropriate that UWSP prepares to enter its 5th decade with new leadership developing a new vision for a connected catalyst for creativity, collaboration, and community that changes the world through innovation. This edition of SPARK features the appointment of Warwick Science Park’s new director, Mark Tock, the call for applications for the Creative Futures incubator in 1 Mill Street, and the launch of Warwickshire County Council’s £140 million Warwickshire Recovery Investment Fund (WRIF). New appointment to drive innovation agenda at Warwick Science ParkMark Tock has been appointed Chief Operations Officer at the University of Warwick Science Park as part of a strategy to drive innovation across the West Midlands. Tock, a life scientist with a PhD in Biology and a Masters in Business Administration, has joined the University of Warwick Science Park from Nexus Leeds, the Innovation Hub of the University of Leeds. He previously sat on the board of the UK Science Park Association (UKSPA).
