Director's Tip of the Month

The ability to collaborate across disciplines is an undeniably valuable skill inside and outside of the academy. One of the most surefire ways to develop cross-disciplinary fluency is to familiarize yourself with the methods of your colleagues in other departments.

Humanities Engage will be hosting a number of in-person and remote workshops this summer that will allow you to learn about research, teaching, and methods across the humanities, and to explore possibilities for interdisciplinary collaboration. Topics might include translating your work and experience for a variety of audiences, effective networking, and integrating experience into your research methods (and vice versa).

Keep an eye on summer event notifications from Humanities Engage to make sure you don’t miss out on these opportunities.

All the best,

Melissa
