KIOST Research Team Discovers Anti-dementia Substance in Jellyfish’s Venom

The Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology (KIOST) announced on Oct. 18 that it has discovered a peptide, or short chain of amino acids linked by peptide bonds, that inhibits the formation of amyloid-β plaques, a known cause of dementia, in the venomous protein of jellyfish.

Naver wins $100 mln digital twin project in Saudi Arabia

Naver, a web service giant in South Korea, has secured an order worth $100 million to build virtual replicas of Saudi Arabian cities including Riyadh, Mecca, and Medina.
