Worth Celebrating! 

Over the last two weeks, we’ve examined the value of team recognition, shared celebration, and having fun in the workplace. We at the ProVision Support Office are true advocates of the value of celebration. It is a clear sense of purpose (to support our Member practices), that motivates us all to turn up and give our best each day. This has resulted in a cohesive and happy team.

How do we celebrate at Provision?
After ten years at the helm, ProVision CEO Steven Johnston is moving on. Steven has achieved so many things worth acknowledging and celebrating over this time, including the creation of systems that have reinvigorated Independent Optometry.

In line with this month’s theme, we’d like to acknowledge and celebrate some of the significant milestones that have become Steven’s legacy:

  • Practice numbers have jumped from 373 to 450
  • Retail sales have doubled in ten years!
  • Supplier partner purchases have grown by $36m (almost double!)
  • There are now 49 Associate Members waiting to buy a practice
  • Over 65,000 online patient bookings made per year via My Health 1st
  • Some 90,000 units ordered per year on ProSupply
  • Over 6.6 million patient communications were sent via ProMarket
  • 349 users taking advantage of the ProAccounts system

On top of this, Steven has overseen the launch of SuccessionPro, RecruitPro, SustainPro, LaunchPro, as well as a revamped ProLearn education platform. A stellar effort, Steven – congratulations and thank you from all of us!
