With Summer just around the corner, now's a good time for some downtime. 

So get out there and treat yourself, whether it’s shopping, hanging out with friends, a day trip to the beach or just sitting down with your favourite book, you have earned it!

In the meantime, a reminder that enrolments for 2022 will open in the next couple of weeks. You can find dates on the University Enrolments website.

In other news, congratulations to the UofA researchers who have gained recognition as Rising Stars and Superstars in research. The University of Adelaide was also named among the top 10 most entrepreneurial universities. Check out the full story on The Australian website.

The mobile COVID vaccination clinic is returning to North Terrace campus 

SA Health will run a second COVID vaccination clinic at the North Terrace campus on 25 November. 

If you have booked, please arrive on time for your appointment. If you attended the first clinic, this is your chance to come again to complete your vaccination program. Walk-ins are welcome but you can also contact the HR Service Centre to secure an appointment in advance. 

When:        Thursday 25 November
Where :      Hartley Building room G10 North Terrace campus
Time:          between 10 am and 3 pm

Have you dreamt of a career playing video games but never knew how to get started, let alone what skills you need to succeed? Adelaide’s eSport Summit has gathered some of Australia’s top gamers, content creators, industry figures and all-round nice people to answer these questions.

Completing your degree this semester? Remember to apply for conferral
It’s important to apply, whether you wish to attend a graduation ceremony or not. Applications close 29 November. To apply, log in to the Graduations section of Access Adelaide. If you can see an automatic application, check whether the details are correct. If you can’t, you’ll see the option to apply.

Join the new funk and disco dance club for some after-exam fun as they vibe along to funky tunes. Enjoy an exciting dance performance by the talented Bearded Dragon. There's free nibbles and and opportunity to meet new friends. Find out more on the event pages.

Doing your last exam of the semester at Adelaide Showgrounds this week? 
If you are not vaccinated against COVID-19, you might want to visit the COVID vaccination clinic at the Showgrounds after your last exam. As South Australia opens its borders later this month, this is another opportunity to get vaccinated before the holidays.

Upskill with discounted Barista and Food Safety Training. The Adelaide University Union (AUU) is offering heavily subsidised training at over 50% off for the first 50 students to book in November.
$79 for AUU Members, $99 for non-members (usually $295!). For details visit auu.org.au/barista.

Free Bystander Training - sexual violence prevention
Wednesday 24 November, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm - Barr Smith South Room 2040
The MATE Bystander is an education/intervention program that helps us become leaders in the prevention of sexual violence and harassment. Registration is currently open to all students to enrol in the final workshop in this series for the year. For more information and to register, visit the event page.
