Brrr... its cold in here! Winter is well and truly upon us, but it doesn't mean we're hibernating.

We're looking 'Towards Albury 2050', creating some important partnerships, forging ahead with key projects and getting ready for a season of special events.

We've released our 'Towards Albury 2050' Community Strategic Plan, which provides a long-term plan and vision for Albury.

Under a landmark agreement with the NSW Government, we'll be working together with the Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) to deliver an estimated 540 new social and affordable homes, and around 700 homes for the private market in Albury.

Our Botanic Gardens Master Plan will guide the future vision for our iconic gardens over the next 20 years. Imagine an education centre and urban food garden, a state of the art conservatory, Indigenous Gardens, Pocket Parks, a cafe... and more!

An eight-month trial of a parklet outside Hapi and Zen X on Dean Street will provide a pedestrian-friendly space to stop, sit and rest, while taking in the activities of the CBD.

With the recently completed Noreuil Park Foreshore Improvements and the development of the Albury Riverside Precinct, the toilet amenities were due for an upgrade to match the wonderful experience that the park delivers.

Upgrades included a complete refurbishment of the male and female toilets and changerooms with new fixtures, lighting, floor and wall finishes, as well as access to hot water.

A separate baby change facility was is included for parents and families, as well as a gender neutral accessible toilet and a wheelchair accessible toilet.
