Keep up to date with Council’s business newsletter to be the first to learn about workshops, training and industry events in the region. The following programs are ongoing:

  • ecoBiz Program – The Queensland Government has partnered with the Business Chamber Queensland to deliver the ecoBiz program. This is a free program to help Queensland businesses reduce their power, water and waste bills.

  • Small business financial coaches – Helps small businesses experiencing financial challenges in their business. Business owners can meet with a financial counsellor for free, one-on-one financial support, including cash flow planning, budgeting, insolvency advice and dispute resolution assistance.  

  • Small business wellness coaches – Wellness coaches help small business owners with unique and personal business challenges, needs and opportunities in a free one-on-one, supportive environment.

  • ATO Online Learning Centre – Essentials to strengthen your small business has been developed to provide free and professional education to support small businesses thrive.
