Alumni Open HousesThe Penn State Eberly College of Science will hold open houses for Eberly alumni and their families each Friday before home football games. Science Exchange: How Viruses ChangeThe September 15 presentation will feature Andrew Read, who will talk about "how viruses change when they invade new host species – and encounter vaccinated hosts." Situating the current pandemic in the context of his 20+ years of work on pathogen evolution in novel and vaccinated hosts, he will look at how the SARS-CoV-2 virus has changed so far – and how it might further evolve going forward.
