Some families can get help with early childhood education costs.

The Early Learning Payment supports children aged 18 months to 3 years if the family is enrolled in Family Start or Early Start.

✅ Non‑taxable
✅ Paid through MSD
✅ Organised with the help of a family/whānau worker

⏰ The payment stops when the child turns 3 or if the family leaves the programme.

👉 Encourage families to talk with their family/whānau worker to find out more.
