Walking in to Mamma Mia! I expected nothing more than new faces rehashing an old classic. Imagine my surprise when they added a bit of Aussie flair to it, with some Adelaide suburbs even being the butt of a couple of jokes. While the whole cast was excellent and well-cast, the actresses portraying the mother-daughter pair Sophie and Donna were absolute standouts. All in all, I went into Mamma Mia! expecting nothing new, and came out incredibly impressed by the skills showcased by every one of our Musical Theatre students. by a surprised fan
