Go Clubs Infrastructure Assistance Grant 2025 COMING SOON - Get Grant Ready!

Cairns Regional Council will soon be announcing opening dates for the Go Clubs Infrastructure Grant – so now is the perfect time to get your club Grant Ready! 

Here are our Top Tips to help you prepare:

✅ Create a Prioritised List of Projects
Think about what your club needs – this could include facility upgrades, new programs, or events.

✅ Get Quotes, Scope & Approvals
If your project involves upgrades on Council-owned land, you’ll need a 'Letter of Support' from Council. You can request this here.

✅ Prepare an Expression of Interest (EOI)
An EOI is your first step towards applying. The EOI submission timeline will be shared soon!

Go Clubs Essentials Assistance Grant 2025/26 NOW OPEN!

Cairns Regional Council is now accepting applications for the Go Clubs Essentials Assistance Grant, providing up to $5,000 worth of assistance designed to support Go Clubs members with repairs, maintenance, and minor upgrades.

The Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) Super Round is offering up to $100,000 in funding to support Queensland community organisations! Whether you're looking for funding to support essential repairs, facility upgrades or launch a new community event, the GCBF Super Round can help bring your vision to life!

Queensland Country Bank 'Good for Good' 2025 Community Grants NOW OPEN!

Queensland Country Bank is now accepting applications for its ‘Good for Good’ Community Grants program. Eligible not-for-profit organisations are invited to apply for funding of up to $30,000 for projects that make a practical difference to Queensland communities. 

📅 Applications are open from 1 July to 31 August 2025.

Powerlink Community Grant - up to $5,000 Opening 21 July 2025!!

Powerlink Queensland is offering grants of up to $5,000 for community groups, clubs and not-for-profit organisations to support community-focused projects across regional Queensland. Past projects have included:

• Equipment upgrades
• Club learning workshops
• Family fun days
• Security system installations

📅 Applications are open from 21 July 2025 to 22 August 2025

$200 Play On! Vouchers Available from 4 August!

From Monday 4 August 2025, Queensland families and activity providers can apply for a $200 Play On! voucher per child (aged 5–17) to help cover the cost of sport and recreational activities! 

Here’s what you need to know:

✅ $200 per eligible child
✅ Priority support for regional and rural communities
✅ Focus on inclusive sport for all abilities
✅ Two rounds per year (summer & winter)

Play On! aims to get more kids involved in sport and recreation —regardless of where they live or their ability. Don’t miss out — sign up for updates today!
