Thank you to all who attended our Launch event last week, it was fabulous to see you there! 

This year International Women’s Day falls on a Friday, so we thought we would do something a little bit different. One of our focuses for 2024 is the Gender Pay Gap.  

UN Women’s theme for 2024 is Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress. Women’s economic empowerment is central to a gender equal world. When women are given equal opportunities to earn, learn and lead – entire communities thrive. 

We would like to focus on how far we have come since the first woman was granted the ability to study law and how we can forge a more inclusive world for women!

Women Lawyers Association of NSW invites you and your guests to attend our fun, empowering and inclusive International Women’s Day event held at the Rawson, the Rocks from 5.30pm – 8.30pm. 

This year we are doing things a little differently: there will be music, dancing, canapes, and refreshments.

We look forward to sharing International Women’s Day with you. A day of collective global activism and celebration that belongs to all those committed to forging women’s equality.
