The importance of self-care

Has a complaint been made about you?

We understand it is stressful to have a complaint made about you, regardless of the situation. We strongly encourage you to seek advice, and support whenever you need to.

For professional advice, speak to your industry association, indemnity insurer or solicitor. For support, talk to colleagues, family and friends or your GP. There is also a list of support services on the Ahpra website.

Online registration renewal for chiropractors

Annual registration renewal for chiropractors is due soon. Registration is due by 30 November and covers the period 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2026.

Maintaining your registration is essential to ensure you can continue to practise lawfully as a chiropractor in Australia. Registration protects the public, upholds professional standards, and affirms your commitment to safe, quality care. 

This year, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) has introduced a new online portal with multi-factor authentication (MFA). Please allow extra time to familiarise yourself with the portal and set up MFA.

Registration fees for NSW Chiropractors 

As you know, practitioners pay a registration fee each year to the Chiropractic Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Ahpra) to maintain their registration in Australia.

The annual renewal fee covers the registration period of 1 December 2025 to 30 November 2026. You can find more information on the Chiropractic Board of Australia or Ahpra website.
