Welcome to the February issue of our customer newsletter Pure Vantage, keeping you, our customers and enthusiasts, updated on everything that's happening here at Vantage Motorhomes.
As always, February is an incredibly busy month. We’ve got the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show coming up on the 18th and our extended Factory Open Days, the following weekend. To make things even more interesting, we’re building our first HYBRID!
We’ve more exciting news but at the moment we’re sworn to secrecy. All will be revelaed soon.

We’ve been hearing from owners who have been out and about in their Vantages in some seriously low temperatures recently. All with the same report – warm and cosy inside.

Take Home a Preloved Vantage
Our owners love their Vantages. So much so, when their needs change, they come back to us again and again. That means we have great Vantages in stock from trade-ins… to another Vantage of course!

Our Vantage Preloved Promise takes all the risk out of buying
* All preloved vehicles come with a 12 months warranty and 12 months MOT.
* Both the base vehicle and habitation services are completed before collection.
* The gas tank will be full or a full gas bottle will be provided.
* You’ll have six months road tax and at least a quarter tank of fuel to get you started.
* On collection we will go through a full working handover to demonstrate your preloved motorhome is in full working order.
* Whether you’re new to motorhoming or an experienced motorhomer, you will know where everything is and how it works before you leave.

Vantage’s General Manager, Ben Dawes, tells us about the new Hybrid option from Vantage.
Ben explains ‘Our new Ford PHEV (Petrol Hybrid Electric Vehicle) is currently in build in our factory. We will be offering this base vehicle option on the Luna and Fuze models within our campervan range where we can offer the same style, comfort and build quality as the Diesel Custom but on the eco-friendly PHEV.’
Ben says, ‘We will be adding the base vehicle as an option on our campervans at a cost of £4,000. The Luna PHEV & Fuze PHEV are available to order NOW.’
The technical bit…
For our first step into Hybrid Electric Vehicles we’ve chosen the Transit Custom on a new 2.5L Duratec PHEV 227ps CVT Auto plug-in hybrid powertrain.
It blends urban-friendly all-electric range with long-distance petrol and electric hybrid capability, convenience, and fuel efficiency.
To incorporate the PHEV base vehicle, we have made a couple of changes to the standard Luna and Fuze specification.
The Webasto diesel heater has been replaced with the Truma VarioHeat gas and electric heater along with an increased gas tank capacity to 50ltr from the 16ltr in the standard Luna and Fuze. This will help with the demands from heating and cooking off-grid. It also comes with a tyre inflator kit instead of the full spare wheel.

Manager’s Choice
Dave says, ‘This one-owner 2018 Autotrail Frontier Scout is a beautiful motorhome. It has 6 belted seats and has 6 good-sized berths. The kitchen is equipped with a four-ring hob (one electric, and three gas). There’s an 800w microwave, a 171 litre fridge/freezer and ample work surfaces.
The rear U-shaped lounge has a TV bracket and aerial point and there is also a separate front dinette with two rearward facing belted seats and two forward facing belted seats. The bathroom has a separate self-enclosed shower, toilet and wash hand basin.
Clare says, ‘Our diary is filling up fast—don’t miss your chance to secure your spot! A regular habitation service is essential to keep your motorhome or campervan in top shape. It helps you catch small issues before they turn into costly problems, ensuring your vehicle remains safe, reliable, and ready for your next adventure.’

You may remember that Grenville and Liz collected their new Vantage at the end of last year. Grenville is the past chairman of the Caravan and Motorhome Club. It was great to hear from them about some of their first experiences in their Vantage.
‘Liz and I have just returned home from 10 days away in Chester, Chirk and Broadway. The weather was pretty cold outside (-7C) as you will see from the attached photograph but like toast inside. The van is performing brilliantly and we have just one regret, we should have come to Vantage earlier! Kind regards, Grenville.’
