Face to Face: Embracing Portraiture

Exhibition open Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm from 23 May to 24 June
Ira Raymond Exhibition Room, Barr Smith Library
A rare opportunity to see highlights of the University’s portrait collection, "Face to Face" presents artworks by acclaimed Australian artists. As the centrepiece, a new portrait depicting Kaurna Elder, Uncle Rodney O’Brien, will be displayed for the first time. The exhibition also includes researcher stories about the human face.

 
 

Starting Tuesday 14 June 2022, Student Success Advisors for all Arts programs move to Level 1, Marjoribanks. All in-person program advice and enrolment support for the Faulty of Arts, Business, Economics and Law will then be provided at the ABLE Student Support Hub in Marjoribanks. Remote support options stay the same!

Help prevent sexual violence and harassment
MATE bystander awareness workshops are free, 3-hour workshops for current students.This is an education and intervention program is designed to teach students how to recognise sexual violence and have the confidence to speak out and offer help. Find session times and learn more on the website.

 
Mental Health First Aid Training
In this free two day course, you'll learn the signs and symptoms of mental health problems, where and how to get help and what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective. For more information visit the website, and email Jill Allen to register.
Your library loan periods have been extended
The library has revised the standard loan period - extending the previous 10 week loan period to 12 weeks. Find out more on the website.

Free MATE Bystander Training: Changing Culture (Preventing Sexual Harm)

This free 3-hour workshop aims to educate and empower students to be leaders in the prevention of sexual violence and harassment. The program is designed to teach students how to recognise sexual violence in its various forms and have the confidence to speak out and offer help.
