Your September 2024 edition International Student Orientation Success New Mustangs from around the world received a warm welcome to campus during Western International’s extended International Student Orientation program this month. The new format offered students a variety of opportunities to connect, learn, and socialize – both in-person and online, and featured webinars, a two-week Welcome Centre, social events for students and their families, and opportunities for one-on-one appointments with advisors. The overall program was developed to complement broader orientation programming at Western and was supported by colleagues across campus and a team of more than 100 student volunteers and mentors. New students who missed International Student Orientation are encouraged to watch the recordings of the Webinar Series and to make an appointment to meet with an International Student Advisor to learn more about the programs and services available to them.
