Health programme call for proposals

The Scottish Government have published call for proposals documents for their non-communicable diseases programme in Rwanda and Zambia.

The deadline for receiving applications is 12.00 on Friday 5th July 2024.

The Cross-Party Group on international development wants to hear the sector's experience of Scottish Government funding approaches.  

We encourage our members to consider responding to the inquiry, sharing any experiences you have (both positive and negative), to support the CPG in gaining an accurate understanding of current processes.

Ministerial role for international development is cut

The Scottish Government have announced John Swinney’s new ministerial team which sees the removal of a Minister for Culture, Europe and International Development. This remit will fall to Angus Robertson MSP as Cabinet Secretary for Constitution, External Affairs and Culture.

Funding update of the month

Big Give Women & Girls Match Fund

Type of project: Charities working to improve the lives of vulnerable, disadvantaged or underrepresented women and girls within the UK and internationally and are led by, for and with women and girls can apply.

Grant size: Charities seeking to raise either £2,500, £5,000 or £10,000 in public donations (to be doubled by the match funds). 

Closing date: 21st June
