Penn State names Neeli Bendapudi as next president

 

Neeli Bendapudi, currently president and professor of marketing at the University of Louisville, Kentucky, has been unanimously named Penn State’s next president by the Penn State Board of Trustees on Dec. 9. When she begins her appointment as Penn State’s 19th president in spring 2022, she will make history as the first woman and person of color to serve as the University’s president.

Last Chance for Matching Gift Opportunity

Eberly's unique Lab Bench to Commercialization initiative enables researchers to enhance commercial potential of ongoing research and prepares them to translate their IP to the marketplace. This competitive grant funding is managed by the Office for Innovation within the Office of the Associate Dean for Research. For donors wishing to support the College’s efforts to encourage faculty innovation and commercialization, the University offers a 1:1 match for endowments created for Lab Bench to Commercialization (LB2C) through its economic development initiative. Forensics Virtual Program
Jan. 26, 6-7 p.m. EDT

Hosted by Jason Brooks, Forensic Science Program Director, the program will include remarks by Dean Langkilde of the Eberly College of Science and student speakers. There will also be a panel of alumni: Dr. Frank Wendt (2013) from the Yale University School of Medicine & US Department of Veterans Affairs Healthcare System, Alison Carr (2011) from Cooley & Handy Attorneys at Law, and Jessica Hovingh (2018 and 2021) from the University of Lausanne - Switzerland.
