The Generator whānau spent an incredible few days across Hawke’s Bay and Wairoa, connecting with Generites, hapori, & whānau building strong local futures.

Highlights included the Rural Business Symposium at Te Huki Marae, Raupunga, bringing together Hon. Cushla Tangaere-Manuel,  kaiārahi hapori and pakihi leaders from across the rohe to mahi tahi, ako tahi, and strengthen enterprise.

Huge mihi to the 20 Generites beginning or continuing their haerenga pakihi — your wairua and resilience inspire us 🌱💼

Awa Films are casting for a kōtiro Māori (10-17yrs with conversational te reo Māori) for a new drama series filming in Te Whanganui-a-Tara across late May 2026.
