Dear Friends,

The 2025 National Neurodiversity Leadership Summit—the largest in history, with over 100 schools represented from more than 25 states—brought together hundreds of young leaders, educators, advocates, and allies from across the country for a powerful celebration of neurodiverse voices.

Over the course of the event, attendees engaged in inspiring keynote sessions, skill-building workshops, and dynamic conversations on leadership, inclusion, and career readiness.

This year’s Summit marked a bold step forward in The Neurodiversity Alliance’s mission to improve the educational experience and outcomes of students who learn differently. Together, participants explored how to build inclusive communities, create pathways to meaningful careers, and reshape systems so every student can thrive.

Adding to the excitement, The Neurodiversity Alliance announced its inaugural celebrity ambassador cohort—remarkable individuals who are lending their voices and platforms to champion the movement:

  • Eva Erickson – Survivor contestant and advocate for learning differences

  • Phil Hanley – Comedian and outspoken supporter of the neurodiversity movement

  • Jewell Loyd – WNBA player and champion for inclusion and representation

  • Viraj Dhanda – Nonverbal autistic student redefining advocacy and possibility

  • Alex Hackel – Two-time X-Games medalist, filmmaker, and co-founder of 1000 Skis

These ambassadors embody the movement's spirit, showing the world that when neurodivergent voices are amplified, change follows.

We extend our deepest gratitude to The LEGO Foundation for sponsoring this year’s Summit. Their commitment is helping to create a more equitable and inclusive future—one where neurodivergent young people are recognized as leaders, innovators, and co-creators of a better world.

The Summit’s success reflects the growing momentum of the neurodiversity movement—and the power of community to drive meaningful change. The Neurodiversity Alliance remains committed to creating spaces where neurodivergent young people can connect, learn, lead, and inspire.

We can't wait to see everyone again next year!
