SPHERE – MRFF Rapid Applied Research Translation Funding EOI Process 

The MRFF RART funding scheme makes $27.5M available to organisations like SPHERE for grants of between $250K and $10M to be paid over 3 years for projects of up to 5 years duration. Universities, MRIs and certain other incorporated entities can submit ONE application each and investigators named on ONE application only. 
 
SPHERE is managing a rapid Expression of Interest process for this opportunity to assist its 16 Clinical Academic Groups and 14 partner organisations to short-list, coordinate and uplift applications with the greatest potential for success. All eligible applications will be assessed by an expert review panel and SPHERE Executive members will liaise with successful EOI applicants about progressing to full applications to be submitted by our eligible partner organisations. 

You are strongly encouraged to participate in this EOI process if submitting a RART application. Please contact Dr Adam Walczak with any enquires and see the link to the EOI form (recently updated version) below.

Consultation is open to inform the development of six MRFF research missions Roadmaps and Implementation Plans. You can provide feedback at the following Expert Advisory Panels hosted webinars:

•    Dementia, Ageing and Aged Care Mission webinars on 16 February 2021 and 19 March 2021

TCRN
The Translational Cancer Research Network (TCRN) is a translational cancer research centre program funded by the Cancer Institute NSW and is a collaborative and interactive cancer research community based in the South East of Sydney, with links to cancer services and researchers in inner and southern Sydney, and Albury. It was formed to create an innovative and supportive environment for the translation of cancer research into improvements in patient care.

CONCERT
The Centre for Oncology Education, Research and Training (CONCERT) is a translational research centre program funded by the Cancer Insitute NSW. CONCERT exists to bring together the knowledge and expertise of cancer health professionals and researchers to facilitate translation of research generated evidence into practice to achieve better outcomes for those affected by cancer.

Cancer CAG
The Cancer Clinical Academic Group (Cancer CAG) brings together clinicians and researchers from three universities, four cancer services (with six major treatment facilities) and three Medical Research Institutes. Our combined research strength spans the translational medicine spectrum of bench to bedside and health service delivery.

Working with TCRC partners, our network extends to all of the organisations below.
