FACING THE CRISIS

 

Each month, we highlight a photograph from Facing the Crisis, our virtual exhibition documenting the human impact of the climate crisis. This photograph, taken by Le Quan, on behalf of Waste Aid shows Iñaki Calvillo and Nguyen Minh Toan, two employees from Plastic People in Ho Chi Minh City, an organization that drives plastic waste recycling. Plastic People helps recycle a portion of Ho Chi Minh City’s plastic waste, which would otherwise be environmentally harmful, into useful and profitable plastic pellets.
