Through yoga, qigong and mindfulness, and our other movement classes, we’ll explore simple ways to soothe the digestive and nervous systems, reduce discomfort, and support a greater sense of ease day to day. We welcome you to our upcoming Q&A on Understanding Bowel Cancer, offering clear, practical information alongside a supportive space for connection, questions, and shared understanding. You are also invited to join our in-person Community Classes, held in locations across the motu, or to take part from home through our online supportive skincare and hair sessions, accessible wherever you are. Community ClassesOur community classes share practical skincare and appearance tips to help manage the impact of treatment while connecting you with others who understand. Q&A: Understanding Bowel CancerIf you or someone you care about is facing a bowel cancer diagnosis, it can feel overwhelming to know where to start or what to expect. This online class with Nurse Victoria Thompson from Bowel Cancer New Zealand covers symptoms, diagnosis, treatment options, and the practical and emotional support available for you and your whānau. Victoria brings specialist nursing expertise and a grounded, compassionate approach to help you feel informed and less alone. You will leave with clearer answers, greater confidence, and a better sense of the next steps ahead. Supporting our Gut & Nausea Symptoms | Soothe & SettleOnline Mind & Movement ClassesOur free online mind and movement classes provide gentle support during treatment and recovery. Yoga Nidra brings deep relaxation and nervous system calm and will now be in our programme fortnightly from Tuesday, 19th May. Qigong offers gentle movements and breath to help soothe the nervous system, release tension, and support a sense of ease, while Mindfulness provides calming practices to steady the mind, settle racing thoughts, and support emotional wellbeing.
