Join us for the open-est open mic night on campus!
What's an open mic? It's a chance for anyone, from first-time performers to seasoned vets, to take the stage for a short, pre-set amount of time and share creative work with an audience.
All Pitt students, faculty, and staff and all performance genres welcome, from music to spoken word to dance and more. Come to perform, or just to support our Pitt community and soak up the vibe (and good snacks).

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip hop by joining iconic style writers Mike 171 and Henry 161.
In 1970s New York, young graffiti artists took up spray cans to express themselves in a city undergoing massive transformations from financial, political, and infrastructural disinvestment.
Mike 171 and Henry 161 are two of the earliest style writers from upper Manhattan and part of a group featured in the documentary Wall Writers, screening free on Saturday, Sept. 16.
Meet with these famous writers and learn how to develop your own style in a hands-on workshop. Register now
