Do you have a smartphone and a story? That's all you need to craft a submission to our fourth annual One Minute Film Festival.

We want to see your narrative shorts, stop motion, experimental films, and anything else you come up with. The only constraint: a 60-second time limit.

Need some help or inspiration?

For more details and resources, check our webpage. All films will be shown at a special public screening in November. Submit your entry by the Oct. 23 deadline to be eligible for a cash prize!

Open Mic Opens Minds

Thursday, Oct. 19 | 8:30-10 p.m.

Does making art give you strength in a difficult time, or a way to shine light on challenges that others might not see? Celebrate the power of creativity to reveal, heal, and connect at Open Mic, Open Minds.

This special Center for Creativity open mic embraces music, spoken word, dance, theater, and any other kind of performance focused on your experience of mental health. We aim to raise awareness, fight prejudice, and promote community by giving you a stage to share your story.

Bring your own work, share a piece from your favorite artist, or just come out in support. All Pitt students, faculty, and staff are invited!
