Summers Coming - with law firms eyeing the North, the future's looking bright for Manchester
What would Jon Snow make of it all? In Game of Thrones 'The North' is a vast area, ravaged by tough winters and home to hardy and tough 'northmen' and tribes of savage warriors who hold the comforts of the warm, "soft" south in disdain. According to the data collected in our 2015 Salary & Benefits Benchmarker, only 2% of legal professionals use their bikes to get to work, with the majority of these working in London.
With an average commute of 43 minutes each way it’s perhaps not surprising that lawyers are opting for cars or public transport, although a handful of die-hard enthusiasts did concede that they cycle for an hour each way before hitting the office.
