Photo courtesy of NPS Announcing Our 2023 GrantsAs we reflect on 2022, we are endlessly grateful to our donors, volunteers, staff, National Park Service partners, and everyone who helped make last year's projects and programs in Yosemite a success. This year, we're thrilled to officially announce that we are providing $17 million in total support to Yosemite in 2023. We are diving right in to another exciting year of work in the park. We invite you to browse our 2023 grants on our website — with your support, we're funding 50 projects to restore trails and habitat, protect wildlife, offer educational programs, and much more in our centennial year. This Valentine's Day, we're specifically seeking Yosemite love stories! Here's a sweet supporter story to inspire you: "A week after we met in 2014 we talked about hiking Half Dome and 2 years later we got the opportunity to so I knew at the top I would be asking my best friend to marry me and she said yes! Less than a year later we got married on the lawn of the Majestic!* We absolutely love Yosemite!" — Oliver de los Angeles, depicted above proposing in the park. Got a Yosemite love story to share? Tell us all about it by filling out our survey form. *Note: The wedding took place before the name changed back to The Ahwahnee.
