Instead of our visiting students joining one team in a hospital, we leveraged our virtual platform to expose our scholars to trainees, faculty, and staff at all of our participating sites. From this need, our RYSE Virtual Visiting Scholars program was born. This academic year, we were joined by seven RYSE Virtual Visiting Scholars and we are proud to announce that four of our scholars matched at Emory for IM.
Additionally, we are proud to announce that our inaugural RYSE Virtual Visiting Scholars 2020–2021 cohort (pictured below, right) is graduating from residency!
