Women Lawyers Association of NSW

Dear Members and Colleagues,

The Law Society of New South Wales and The Women Lawyers Association of New South Wales are seeking New South Wales-based early and/or mid-career lawyers who work in various practice areas and organisations to participate in online focus groups.

The online focus groups are part of a research project called Designing Gender Equality into the Future of Work, which is funded by the Australian Research Council's Linkage Scheme. This project aims to identify key labour market and workplace transformations in Australia and understand how these changes might affect men, women, and gender diverse people working in the legal profession. This project is a partnership between researchers from the University of Sydney, The Law Society of New South Wales (who have made a financial contribution to the project and in-kind support) and The Women Lawyers Association of New South Wales (who have provided in-kind support). The focus groups are expected to run for approximately 90 minutes and will be scheduled at a time that is convenient for most participants.
