Cattle BVD

 

NOTE: Animals never vaccinated before (eg heifers) will require 2x doses 4-6 weeks apart prior to mating. Those animals that have been vaccinated previously (eg bulls & cows) will require 1x dose prior to mating. 

Talk to your vet about a BVD vaccination programme that is tailor made for your property.

 

Bovilis BVD

The only BVD vaccine that provides 12 months fetal protection after the third dose. The vaccine provides 6 months fetal protection after the second dose.

Withholding: Nil

Dose: 2ml dose. Two doses, 4 weeks to 6 months apart required in the first year, with annual booster in subsequent years. 

Ultravac BVD 

Clinically proven efficacy in New Zealand against New Zealand BVD virus

Withholding: Nil

Dose: 2ml

 

Cattle - Other

 

Rumetrace Capsules

Aid in the prevention of grass staggers in lactating cattle.Longest lasting form of Magnesium supplementation available for NZ cattle. Slowly release magnesium into the rumen for 9 to 12 weeks following administration.

Remensin Anti-Bloat Capsule 

Suitable for dairy cows, beef cattle and replacement heifers over 250kg liveweight. A 100 day controlled release bolus that is frequently used for bloat risk herds and for providing additional energy to particular classes of stock.

Lamb Oral Drench Options

 

Warning: Abamectin containing drenches are a toxicity risk for lambs less than 20kg. Take caution with drenching light lambs prior to weaning.

If you are concerned about resistance talk to your vet around effective pre-weaning drench options.

 

Lamb First

A combination drench for the control of levamisole or benzimidazole resistant roundworms, tapeworm, lungworm and adult fluke in lambs and sheep.

Arrest Hi Min

The original combination drench providing dual control of parasites. For the control of levamisole or benzimidazole resistant roundworms. 

 

Calf drenches

 

Warning: Abamectin containing drenches are a toxicity risk for cattle less than 120kg. Take caution with drenching light calves prior to weaning.

Arrest C

For the control of sensitive roundworms and lungworm. Albendazole provides added control of adult liver fluke and tapeworm. 

Iver Matrix Calf - Minidose

For the treatment and control of internal parasites in cattle and sheep including those with single or dual resistance to any of the three major drench families.

NOTE: Vetrazin Red is on very limited supply and will be discontinued on stock run out. We have reserved stock of the 10L containers, we are able to supply 25L drums on request. Please contact your local clinic.
