![]() DFI Publication Scholarships 2025Applications for DFI Publication Scholarships 2025 should be submitted: 30 June 2025 at the latest All applications received after the deadline will be reviewed the following year. We accept applications for papers that have been accepted for publication or published in the current year or the year before (i.e. 2024 and 2025). Please make sure to include DFI in the acknowledgement statement. The following acknowledgement in the article is required: a) A Research Scholar has to use the following statement: “Support from the Danish Finance Institute (DFI) is gratefully acknowledged”. b) A Research Fellow who does not receive a Research Scholarship from DFI, and where it is uncertain that a Publication Scholarship will be granted, has to use the following statement: “NN is affiliated with the Danish Finance Institute which financially supports researchers in finance”. When the application for a publication scholarship is approved, the applicant is recommended, if possible, to have the article updated with the statement mentioned in a). A Research Fellow can only apply for a single Publication Scholarship each year. DFI needs to have some financial flexibility towards the end of 2026 when the existing funding will expire. Therefore, the Board of Directors may decide to reduce the amount available for the Publication Scholarships for 2025. Hence, the approved Publication Scholarships may all be reduced proportionally by a given percentage. The Board of Directors will discuss and make a decision regarding this at the next board meeting in October. DFI after 2026As previously mentioned, DFI’s current funding will expire at the end of 2026. We are actively exploring opportunities for funding after 2026.
