Check out the ABCA Cup this weekend! Canoe & Campi CupsABCA’s coaching series held across six zones in the Auckland region during June and July has been hugely successful. The coaching series is all about upskilling players who are new and in their first five years of lawn bowls. Following the coaching sessions, the Zone coaches select players to compete in the annual Canoe and Campi Tournaments. This year the Campi Cup was hosted by Epsom Bowls while the Canoe Cup was played at Bridge Park Bowling Club with close to 200 players competing over the two events on 12 & 13 August. The workshop was a great way for club members to contribute to the club’s direction over the next 1 to 5 years. Thirty-three nations from around the world will compete for a World title in the men’s and women’s singles at the 2023 World Champion of Champions. Club Robina on Australia’s Gold Coast will host this prestigious international event, with thirty-two men and twenty-six women competing at a Club set in beautiful, landscaped gardens in a private and tranquil setting with three manicured greens.
