Check out the ABCA Cup this weekend!

Canoe & Campi Cups

ABCA’s coaching series held across six zones in the Auckland region during June and July has been hugely successful.  The coaching series is all about upskilling players who are new and in their first five years of lawn bowls.

Following the coaching sessions, the Zone coaches select players to compete in the annual Canoe and Campi Tournaments.

This year the Campi Cup was hosted by Epsom Bowls while the Canoe Cup was played at Bridge Park Bowling Club with close to 200 players competing over the two events on 12 & 13 August.

Strategy planning workshop at New Lynn

On Monday 14 August, Sport Waitākere with support from Bowls Auckland led a workshop with New Lynn members to establish their new Strategic Plan.

The workshop was a great way for club members to contribute to the club’s direction over the next 1 to 5 years.

If your club’s Strategic Plan is in need of a refresh, please reach out to Bowls Auckland for support and advice.
