Applications are open now for a Sport4All Inclusion Coach

Sport4All are bringing a new role to Cairns QLD, so if you’re passionate about sports and inclusion and have lived experience or connection to disability, you can apply to become an Inclusion Coach with Sport4All.

What is Sport4All?

Sport4All is dedicated to making sports accessible and inclusive for everyone, especially individuals with disabilities. Sport4All is a Get Skilled Access initiative that employs a local Inclusion Coach who focuses on empowering grassroots communities, clubs, and schools to create inclusive sporting environments. Sport4All provides tools, training, and resources to foster equity in participation, not just in playing roles but also in coaching, volunteering, spectating and administrative roles. The program emphasises universal design and collaboration to remove barriers, ensuring everyone can enjoy the benefits of sports regardless of ability.

What does an Inclusion Coach do?

An Inclusion Coach plays a key role in the Sport4All program by helping communities adopt inclusive practices. These coaches typically have lived experience or connection to disabilities, allowing them to authentically advocate for accessibility and belonging. Inclusion Coaches work with local grassroot schools and clubs to build capability and capacity for including people with disability in all aspects of sport.
