The end of the month of April and three Public Holidays, so now we can all really get back into swing! First up, to our footy tipping competition. Congratulations to Jane Moore of the Australian College for Real Estate Training, who was the winner of last week’s spot prize, a camper trailer hire valued at $270. This prize was made possible through the generosity of our great members, Scott & Linda Fraser of Camper Trailers Albury Wodonga. Thanks so much Scooter & Linda! We have another three workshops coming up soon, that are fully funded by the Victorian Government and delivered by Small Business Victoria. The City of Wodonga partnering to ensure that we are able to provide quality workshop and learning opportunities at no cost to local businesses, so please take advantage of all or any workshops. These three workshops are on marketing and online business so these should have appeal to everyone in this digital age of disruption and communication. We know that not every workshop will be perfectly suited to every individual business, so we try to cater with a wide range of development offers. As the economic environment changes and as our community continues to grow we want to make sure that we are hitting the mark for what is needed for our members. To help us understand better what workshops you would like to see run that would be of benefit to you, we will soon be sending out a survey so that we can make sure that we meet your needs. We are your Business Wodonga after all. Until next week. -Graham Small Business Digital AdaptationSmall Business Digital Adaptation ProgramSmall businesses can apply for $1,200 rebates to access a range of digital tools to make improvements to websites, online marketing, project management and stocktake systems and cash flow services. Great Coffee Moments café in Port Fairy has gone from strength to strength since embarking on its digital transition in 2021, with support from the program. Having operated for seven years without an online presence, Great Coffee Moments now has a website, integrated booking system, online store and active social media accounts. This online adaptation means customers can now buy coffee beans online throughout the year and positive reviews have also driven strong growth and an expansion of their catering business. Popular software applications available as part of the program include Mr Yum, Square, Shopify, Squarespace, MYOB and XERO. Once business owners have implemented the new technology, further assistance is also available through the program to support a successful digital transition in addition to free digital workshops through Business Victoria.
